"The Patent"
This patent provides a method of repairing or patching a defect in a vinyl window frame with a PVC adhesive or filler, including a PVC cement. Using products not manufacturered by Vinyl Doctor, or not licensed through Vinyl Doctor, to repair vinyl window frames can violate US patent laws.
Repair technicians, who adhere to the VinylDoc method and exclusively use VinylDoc products, are granted limited rights under US Patent law for the use of the patented method. In so doing, their repairs can meet industry certification standards.
Beware! Imitators use substandard products and methods. Use of bondo, fiberglass, epoxy, paint and PVC cements not unauthorized by VinylDoc are substandard repairs and are illegal. Inevitably, substandard and illegal repairs bring financial liability. Professional reputations and customer goodwill is at stake and may be irretrievably damaged.

David Fenske started as a warranty manager for a major contracting firm in Portland, Oregon.
